One interesting aspect of mechanical engineering is its connection with other engineering fields. Mechanical engineers may work alongside electrical, civil, software, or manufacturing engineers on complex projects. This collaboration is increasingly important as modern products become more advanced. Learning what is mechanical engineering can therefore also show how different technical disciplines work together.
